As the owner of the Arlington School of Massage, I recognized very early on that Richard Moberly was not my typical student. He demonstrated during the hands on sessions with our clients that he possessed a special skill. Not only was he good at massage, but he also possessed the special skill of Reiki energy healing work. He used the energy work to enhance the effects of his massage to the clients' greatest benefit. He was requested as the student therapist by several of our best clients.

After closing the school, which he completed in a record three months, we both accepted positions at a new spa. I became the Spa Director and without hesitation hired Richard as one of the first massage therapists, even before he had successfully passed the State licensing exam. That is how confident I was that he would become licensed, and he succeeded scoring highly on the exam. I continued to request that he work with specific clients on problems areas which may benefit from his energy work with great success.

I can wholeheartedly recommend him to be your massage therapist.

I consulted with Richard on chronic pain I was experiencing on the left side of my body starting at my hip and extending down to my calf. With a combination of deep tissue massage therapy, Reiki, stretching and essential oils Richard was able to release the pain and relax my muscles so I could return to my usual routine. He arrived promptly at my house with his table and administered the treatment in the comfort and convenience of my home. He was very courteous and professional. I would recommend his services to anyone needing massage therapy for pain or stress relief or even just for a relaxing massage. Thank you Richard, for such a positive experience.

I have known Richard since April 2012. He was attending Arlington School of Massage where I had been getting massages for the last 7 yrs. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in all of my joints as well as Osteoarthritis in my knees. In June 2011 I had 3 different foot surgeries and was down for over a year to recover. When I was able to walk again I was so stiff I could hardly move. I went back to Arlington School of Massage to begin to regain my strength but still struggled to get on my feet. Each time I went the owner of the school would call Richard to come and work on the muscles in my legs while she worked on my shoulders, back etc. Richard would often use his hands as heat on my legs and my shoulder muscles that would ease the pain, knots and the stiffness. I later learned it was something called Reiki.

In July of this year the school was closed and Richard as well as the Owner started working at another spa. Richard was again called in special to use Reiki on my shoulders.

Richard uses every method he has been taught every time he does a massage on me to ease my pain and my stiffness. I always leave without the pain and the stiffness that I walk in with.
